The Penguins called up defenseman Frank Corrado from AHL Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Thursday.
The team also placed defenseman Justin Schultz, who sustained a concussion Tuesday night against Edmonton, on injured reserve.
Corrado, 24, played in two games last season after being acquired from Toronto in a midseason trade. He has two points in six games in Wilkes-Barre this season.
The Penguins play the Jets Thursday night at 7 p.m. at PPG Paints Arena.
