Teddy Blueger, Tristan Jarry, Sam Lafferty, and John Marino are supporting the Pittsburgh community during the coronavirus outbreak.
The players purchased 500 pizzas from Fox's Pizza Den, and Fox's Pizza Den matched that number to donate a total of 1,000 pizzas to local community centers.
The donations benefitted organizations that feed children and families in the community who typically rely on schools or other organizations that have been impacted by the shutdowns.
"We are proud of our players for continuing to step forward in this way to assist members of our community," said David Morehouse, president and CEO of the Penguins.
