Welcome to the final regular-season edition of the Post-Gazette Penguins mailbag. The team is coming off a massive 4-3 overtime win against the Devils Thursday night, a victory that went a long way towards solidifying their playoff positioning.
The division is probably out of reach, with the Capitals owning a five-point advantage and one game in hand. Right now, the Penguins seem headed towards a first-round showdown with either Columbus or Philadelphia, with the next four games set to determine whether they’ll be playing their rivals to the west or east.
