TAMPA, Fla. — The Penguins lead the Lightning, 1-0, after two periods in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final at Amalie Arena.
After a scoreless first period, the Penguins took the game's first lead with 10 seconds remaining in the second. Penguins right winger Phil Kessel made a rush up the right wing and lifted a wrister on net which Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy rejected. A rebound kicked out above the crease where left winger Carl Hagelin crashed in and tapped the puck into the open net with a forehand shot.
The Penguins lead the game in shots on net, 31-18.
