Penguins' holiday trip to Boston good timing for Conor Sheary

As a third-year player with two Stanley Cup titles to his name already, Conor Sheary has plenty to be thankful for. Chief among them is the opportunity to play on the Penguins’ top line alongside the man widely considered the best hockey player in the world, Sidney Crosby.

But this year, he has something else to be thankful for: the NHL’s schedule makers. Thanks to the Penguins’ upcoming trip to Boston to take on the Bruins on Friday night, Sheary is the only player on the team who will be close to home on Thanksgiving.

“I’ll get to see some of my family and some of my fiance’s family, and it will be a fun experience,” Sheary said.
