Penguins headed to overtime tied with Lightning, 2-2, in Game 2

The Penguins and Lightning are tied, 2-2, after the third period and heading to overtime in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final at Consol Energy Center.

It’s the Penguins’ fourth overtime game of these playoffs. They are 2-1 in the first three, all of which came against Washington in the second round.

Neither team scored in the final two periods after the Penguins let a 2-0 lead slip away in the first period.

Tampa Bay goalie Vasilevskiy has 36 saves through two periods, while Penguins goalie Matt Murray has only had to make 19.

Neither team has capitalized on power play chances, with the Penguins 0 for 2 and the Lightning 0 for 1.
