The Penguins have reassigned forward Bryan Rust to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Rust spent the past 15 days on injured reserve with a hand/wrist injury he suffered Oct. 24 in a game against Nashville.
He played in five NHL games, and had no points.
Rust returns to a farm team that is 16-2.
