Penguins defenseman Brian Dumoulin suggested he will play tonight in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference final at Consol Energy Center. He left Game 1 late in the third period after being slammed into the boards from behind by Lightning left winger Ondrej Palat. Dumoulin’s head hit the glass and he fell to the ice. Teammates and staffers assisted him to the dressing room.
Dumoulin participated in practice Sunday and also attended an optional morning skate today.
“It feels good,” Dumoulin said. “It feels normal. After the hit, I didn't really feel any concussion symptoms which is good.
