Penguins coach Sullivan waiting for injury evaluation on Daley, goalie situation still unclear

TAMPA, Fla. – The sight of Trevor Daley leaving Amalie Arena on crutches was not an encouraging sign for the Penguins.

“No, it’s not encouraging,” coach Mike Sullivan told reporters on Saturday morning after his team's Game 4 loss.

He had no update yet on the severity of Daley’s injury: “Nothing since last night. He’s going to be evaluated when we get back to Pittsburgh today.”

Daley was injured at 10:32 of the second period after a collision with Lightning right winger Ryan Callahan. He fell into the Penguins' end boards and struggled to recover to his skates.
