Penguins Assign Four Players to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton

The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned four players to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Jim Rutherford.

Goaltender Matt Murray and forwards Conor Sheary, Scott Wilson and Oskar Sundqvist have all been returned to WBS.

The moves leaves Pittsburgh’s current training camp roster (CLICK HERE) at 31 players (18 forwards; 11 defensemen; 2 goaltenders).

Pittsburgh wraps up its preseason slate on Friday night by visiting the Carolina Hurricanes at 7 p.m. The game will be live streamed on the Penguins’ official website, penguins.nhl.com.
