Center Oskar Sundqvist will headline the Penguins’ 24-player roster for their annual, three-day rookie tournament, to be held Sept. 16-18 at Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario.
Forwards Josh Archibald, Jean-Sebastien Dea and Dominik Simon and goaltender Tristan Jarry will join Sundqvist among notable Penguins prospects making the trip.
The tournament will feature games against three other NHL teams' top prospects: Friday, Sept. 16 against the Canadiens, Saturday, Sept. 17 against the Senators and Sunday, Sept. 18 against the Maple Leafs.
Center Thomas Di Pauli, who signed with the Penguins on Aug. 19, also will participate, in addition to a couple of spring signings on defense in Lukas Bengtsson and Ethan Prow.
