CRANBERRY, Pa. -- Ron Hextall said prior to Monday's trade deadline that he'd ideally like to add some depth at forward to the Penguins' roster.
They did.
The Penguins have reportedly acquired winger Rickard Rakell from the Ducks, pending the official trade call.
The return going to Anaheim, per TSN's Bob McKenzie, is two roster players -- Zach Aston-Reese and Dominik Simon -- as well as a 2202 second-round pick and an unnamed prospect.
