RALEIGH, N.C. — Unsurprisingly, given his style of play, Patric Hornqvist is not a player who does well when he has to watch from the press box.
He won’t have to much longer.
Hornqvist is likely to return to the Penguins’ lineup Friday night against the Hurricanes. Mike Sullivan said technically he’ll be a “game-time decision,” but all indications point toward Hornqvist being in the lineup for the first time in three weeks
“I feel good,” Hornqvist said. “It’s going to be a game-time decision, but practiced with the team yesterday, had a good morning skate here and I feel ready to go, I feel strong.
