The Penguins were not done this morning after adding forward Patrick Marleau from San Jose. They’ve struck a deal with the Buffalo Sabres which will send Dominik Kahun to Buffalo in exchange for Pittsburgh getting both Conor Sheary and Evan Rodrigues.
Rodrigues, 26, is set to be a restricted free agent this summer. He has a salary cap hit of $2.0 million dollars. Here’s his hockeydb resume:

Sheary, of course, is a former Penguin and member of the last two Stanley Cup teams. He is an unrestricted free agent this summer that was traded to Buffalo for salary cap relief in the summer of 2017.
