Defenseman Ben Chiarot and winger Dale Weise scored the only goals as Team Red defeated Team White, 2-0, Saturday at the team's practice facility in suburban Brossard.
Carey Price, the Canadiens' No. 1 goalie, got the shutout.
"The scrimmage was good," center Nick Suzuki told reporters. "We only had two lines, obviously, so you're getting out there a lot. It was high-tempo. Everyone's really pushing and we really like to see that.
