Murray stops 47 shots as Penguins upend Capitals, 3-2, take a 2-1 lead in series

Marc-Andre Fleury made it back into the Penguins’ lineup tonight.

But if rookie Matt Murray continues to play the way he did during the Penguins’ 3-2 victory against Washington in Game 3 of their second-round playoff series at Consol Energy Center, it might be a while before Fleury, who hadn’t dressed for a game since late March because of a concussion, makes it off the bench.

Murray stopped 47 shots to lead the Penguins, who were outplayed for much of the game, to a 2-1 advantage in the series.

It will resume with Game 4 Wednesday night at 8:10 p.
