That Mark Recchi received a phone call Monday informing him he was headed to the Hockey Hall of Fame was special enough.
That it happened while his parents, Mel and Ruth, were in town knocked it out of the park.
“We had a nice couple glasses of wine [Monday] night,” Recchi said with a smile.
