Perhaps Sidney Crosby’s next move will be a humanitarian mission overseas.
Or maybe he’ll keep it low-key and fire puck after puck in his basement.
Whatever Crosby decides to do, whether it’s extravagant or mundane, public or private, it very likely won’t involve watching the remainder of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
“You want to be there,” Crosby said during Penguins locker cleanout Wednesday at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex. “So it’s tough watching.”
It wasn’t always that way for Crosby, who routinely spends off nights during the regular season watching hockey. Crosby takes a keen interest in the junior level, some NCAA competition and the IIHF world championships.
