The Penguins and Tampa Bay will meet at 8:10 p.m. Thursday at Consol Energy Center in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference final.

It will be the 15th Game 7 in franchise history for the Penguins. They are 2-7 in them at home, 5-0 on the road.

April 26, 1975 New York Islanders @ Penguins. New York’s Ed Westfall shoveled in a shot from the inner edge of the right circle late in the third period to break a 0-0 tie in the Stanley Cup quarterfinals and give the Islanders a 1-0 victory, making them the second team in NHL history to win a best-of-seven series after losing the first three games.
