CALGARY, Alberta -- Sidney Crosby's rehabilitation from surgery to repair a sports hernia has moved to the next level.
Mike Sullivan said today that Crosby has been back on skates for nearly a week, although there still is no target date for him to return to the lineup.
"Sid has been skating for, I want to say, this is Day 6 that he's been on the ice," Sullivan said after the Penguins' practice at the Scotiabank Saddledome. "He's making progress in his rehab process, so we're encouraged by where he's at.
