TAMPA Fla. — The Penguins and Lightning skated on just two-thirds of the ice surface this morning because of an issue with one of the goal moorings at Amalie Arena.
The north end of the rink was blocked off with a barrier while a crew worked through both team's gameday skates.
The problem is expected to be fixed by the time the puck drops for Game 4 of the Eastern Conference final tonight.
The NHL released a statement: "We are currently making a repair to the goal post insert on the north end of the ice.
