Therran Coleman became the third member of the Pitt football recruiting class to commit on live local TV. Like Bricen Garner and Rashad Wheeler, Therran Coleman used KDKA as his platform to announce his college decision to play for Pat Narduzzi and the Pitt Panthers. Coleman is the top rated player from the Pittsburgh City League as a star for Brashear High School.
Coleman had a slew of offers and picked Pitt over a final grouping of Virginia Tech, Wisconsin, Arizona State, and West Virginia. He is listed as a 6'1" 180 pounds. He is a three-star prospect across the board.
