Other than their series against the Florida State Seminoles, the Pittsburgh Panthers (22-16-1, 11-6) have won every series against an ACC opponent this season. With just two series against a conference opponent remaining (Virginia Cavaliers and Louisville Cardinals), will Pitt be able to capture the Coastal Division?
The Panthers are currently in second place in the division with the North Carolina Tar Heels occupying first place with a record of 12-5 in ACC games. Two of those loses came at the hands of Pitt while in Chapel Hill, NC in the middle of last month; the Panthers won the series 2-1.
