Pitt wrestler Dom Forys fell to the consolation rounds after losing his second-round match at the NCAA Tournament, but after a pair of wins on Friday, he will now wrestle to secure All-American status.
Earlier today, he defeated Corey Keener of Central Michigan, 12-6 and then pinned North Carolina State's Jamal Morris. As the Fitz Pack, the wrestling student group, mentioned on Twitter that Forys needed two wins before defeating Morris to become an All-American. He now has a tough task in front of him facing Iowa State's No 8 Earl Hall.
