Pitt women’s basketball lands blue chip Tracey Hueston

Lance White and the Pitt women’s basketball team landed a blue-chip recruit on Sunday evening, as Tracey Hueston announced her commitment to the program via Twitter.

”I’m excited to announce that I am committed to the University of Pittsburgh,” Hueston wrote in the message announcing her commitment. “Proud to be a Panther. H2P."

The 6’2” forward out of Northside High School in Roanoke, Virginia, holds a four-star rating from ESPN, which considers her the No. 78 overall recruit in the 2020 class as well as the No. 17 player at her position.

Only 11 players in ESPN’s ranking of the top 100 women’s basketball recruits of 2020 have committed to ACC schools, and Pitt joins a list of eight programs in the 15-team conference to land an elite 2020 recruit.
