Pitt makes top eight of Georgia safety Jordan Grier

Pat Narduzzi and the Pitt coaching staff saw some of their work on the recruiting trail pay off on Wednesday, as Jordan Grier, a safety out of Cedar Grove High School in Ellenwood, Georgia, placed Pitt in his top eight. The other seven finalists for Grier include Appalachian State, Coastal Carolina, East Carolina, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State and Memphis.

“Thank you to every coach and school that gave me an opportunity to play at the next level and helped me make my dream a reality,” Grier said in a message on Twitter. “I truly appreciate it.
