Pitt baseball enters first ACC Tournament

Pitt’s baseball team finished the regular season with a 27-25 record. Their 11-19 conference record was good enough to get them into their first ACC Tournament since joining the league in 2014.

The Panthers are the No. 12 seed (out of 12 teams) and will be in Pool A, which includes No. 1 North Carolina and No. 8 Georgia Tech.

The baseball tournament works differently from how the single-elimination softball tournament worked. Pitt will play two games, one against each team, and the top team from the pool will advance to the semifinals over the weekend.

So what are their chances for getting out of the Pool?
