Wow. What can I say other than that? Just by the simple law of averages I thought Pitt would lose this game, and after the first quarter I was 100% convinced of it. But what an amazing job by the coaches and the players. Some thoughts:
1. The Pitt defense got absolutely shredded in the first half, and I thought Georgia Tech was going to score 60. But amazingly the Pitt defense held the Georgia Tech offense to just 7 points in the second half. That was the least amount of points that Georgia Tech has scored in a half all season.
