Today at Hubbard High School in the Youngstown, Ohio area, George Hill announced that he has committed to the University of Pittsburgh. Hill was a one-time Ohio State commitment, but wavered from the Buckeyes back in October and opened up his recruitment. Pitt, Michigan State, and Wisconsin appeared to be his finalists with many expecting him to choose the Spartans, and to the surprise of some he committed to Pitt.
The Pitt Twitter universe kind of got a hint yesterday when Pat Narduzzi tweeted that he was excited for 2:00 this afternoon. It soon came out that George Hill planned to commit at 2:00 instead of the original given time of 7:00.
