The 6'1" 180 pound Ford is considered a top 100 prospect nationally. He has the length, speed, and athleticism of an elite defensive back. In the last fifteen years or so, safeties have become playmakers and they have become a highly coveted commodity. Ford has amazing range and has All-American potential. His other offers included Penn State, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State, Auburn, UCLA, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and Tennessee, among others.
