For the past several weeks, head coach Pat Narduzzi has been 'on the prowl', making several stops in various cities to build enthusiasm for the football program. This week, the 'tour' stops in Pittsburgh. Last night he was in the North Hills and tonight, it's Canonsburg.
Basketball coach Jamie Dixon and new athletic director Scott Barnes were there as well, among others. The Trib's Jerry DiPaola put together a nice summary as Narduzzi hit on a few topics.
First and foremost, Narduzzi was tasked with addressing the messy Tyler Boyd issue. The coach didn't run from it and talked about not Boyd, but himself:
"I don't really want to get it into it, but it's a learning situation," Narduzzi said.
