In the first weekend as a ranked team since 2013, the Pitt left no doubt that they belong in the national conversation with a 2-1 series win over Virginia. Rounding out the longest road trip in the country, Pitt returns to Oakland sitting atop the ACC Coastal.
Pitt narrowly took the opener on Saturday, 2-1 before winning a bit more handily on Sunday, 6-2. The Panthers did lose the finale on Monday, 10-4, but it was still a series win for the Top 20 team.
