There’s no denying the tumultuousness of Nate Peterman’s college career, but when he’s asked about the latest change from Jim Chaney to Matt Canada as Pitt’s offensive coordinator -- the fourth such change he’s endured in his five seasons in college -- he’s quick to add a footnote.
“It’s actually three [coordinators] in five years,” Peterman interjects. “I had Coach Chaney twice.”
In a career that’s spanned two schools, three head coaches and, yes, three different coordinators, that’s an important distinction.
But aside from saying goodbye to Chaney for the second time in his career, this feels pretty comfortable for Peterman.
