The Pat Narduzzi era continues to shine bright with the news that Tennessee transfer Dewayne Hendrix will transfer to Pitt. The 6'4" 257 pound defensive end was an elite recruit that lettered as a freshman at Tennessee. Coming out of high school Hendrix's offers, besides Tennessee, included Penn State, Ohio State, Michigan State, Florida, Kansas State, Missouri, Mississippi, Mississippi State, Nebraska, and USC. He will have to sit out this year, but then will have three years to play three years. Needless to say, he is the early favorite to start at either defensive end or defensive tackle in the 2016 season.
