Mike Young leads 87ers in scoring in G League debut

In his first notable game since leaving Pitt, Mike Young led the Delaware 87ers in scoring with 21 points on Friday in a 118-109 road loss to the Maine Red Claws in the NBA G League.

In addition to an impressive performance in terms of scoring, Young grabbed four rebounds, added five assists and limited his mistakes, committing one turnover and one personal foul in 34 minutes.

One stat that stands out for the wrong reasons is Young's 1-for-6 shooting from three-point range. However, it's worth noting that his shot is still intact, as four of his eight field goals were deep twos.
