LeSean McCoy shines in Kansas City Chiefs debut

Former Pitt star LeSean McCoy made his debut with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, and he had an instant positive impact, as he amassed 93 yards from scrimmage in the team’s 40-26 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That made McCoy the Chiefs’ third most productive player on offense in terms of yardage, as he trailed only quarterback Patrick Maholmes and wide receiver Sammy Watkins, who had 378 yards and 198 yards, respectively.

The bulk of McCoy’s yardage was gained on the ground, as he ran for 81 yards on 10 carries. He then tacked on a 12-yard reception to bring his total yards from scrimmage up to 93.
