Pitt men’s basketball coach Jeff Capel completed his coaching staff with the addition of former Charleston assistant Milan Brown on Monday, according to multiple reports. Brown filled the final spot on the Panthers staff after Jason Capel, Tim O’Toole, Brian Regan and Jason Richards were all brought aboard by the new head coach last week.
With the hire, Capel now has three former head coaches working under him as assistants, as Brown, Capel and O’Toole have 24 years of experience heading programs between them. More specifically, Brown coached Mount St. Mary’s and Holy Cross from 2003 to 2015, O’Toole coached Fairfield from 1998 to 2006, and Capel coached Appalachian State from 2010 to 2014.
