After going undrafted, former Pitt wide receiver Manasseh Garner signed with the Kasnas City Chiefs as a free agent fullback. On Tuesday night, the Trib's John Grupp reported that the team had waived him.

Garner is/was an NFL longshot. He didn't stand out at Pitt and as a senior, had a largely unproductive season in terms of pure stats as a starter at wide receiver opposite Tyler Boyd (17 catches for 201 yards and two touchdowns).
