Dontavius Butler-Jenkins done at Pitt due to injury

Pitt wide receiver Dontavius Butler-Jenkins has apparently played his last down with the Panthers, as a knee injury has sidelined him for 2020 and will bring an end to his Pitt career, according to Panthers coach Pat Narduzzi. As a result, the receiver has been removed from Pitt’s roster but will remain on scholarship and is set to graduate next year.

“Dontavius Butler-Jenkins, as you guys know, has had some injury problems in these last couple years,” Narduzzi said during a Zoom meeting with members of the local media. “He hurt a knee. I’ll never forget, as a young guy he ran a dig in the indoor facility, broke about the 15-yard line, turned up and went down with probably a pretty serious knee injury and really has never been the same.
