After a tumultuous Friday morning for Pitt that saw seven members of the men’s basketball team join Parker Stewart in requesting their release from the program, 2018 Pitt signee Bryce Golden decided to explore his options as well, asking for his own release, according to Rivals.
“With all of the changes happening and all of the players asking for their releases, I just wanted to be able to explore other options,” Golden said.
The 6’9” power forward is considered a three-star recruit by Rivals and 247Sports, but ESPN has him pegged as a four-star prospect.
