There's a good argument to be made that this is the best opening week game ever, not just in the ACC.
Going back to 2005, there have only been four other top-10 matchups on the season's opening week:
2012: Alabama vs. Michigan
2011: Oregon vs. LSU
2010: Boise State vs. Virginia Tech
2009: Alabama vs. Virginia Tech
Of those four, only the 2010 game between Boise State and Virginia Tech turned out to be any good.
