The Phoenix Suns are set to tip off against the Houston Rockets on Monday, Nov. 24. Unfortunately for fans of the narrative, former Sun Kevin Durant — who was traded to Houston in a blockbuster deal over the summer — will miss the game due to a personal family matter.
The Suns (11-6) are riding a three-game winning streak after defeating the San Antonio Spurs Sunday night.
The Rockets (10-4) lost their last matchup, an Emirates NBA Cup game against the Denver Nuggets.
In addition to Durant, the Rockets will be without Dorian Finney-Smith (ankle), Tari Eason (hip) and Fred VanVleet (who’ll miss the 2025-26 season while recovering from a torn ACL).
