Phoenix Suns head coach Monty Williams won't try something new just for the heck of it in the 2019-20 NBA season resumption.
"Everything we're going to do and will do will be based on winning games," Williams said last month. "So if I put Mikal (Bridges) or Cam (Johnson) or any of our guys in a situation that is not as familiar to our fan base or to (the media), it's not just to experiment for experimenting sake. It's to win."
So what may Williams try that's "a bit different" as the Suns (26-39) will open their eight regular-season "seedings" games July 31 against Washington (24-40) at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida?
