After scoring two goals against the Washington Capitals, Arizona Coyotes forward Nick Schmaltz reflected on what transpired in a 6-0 win on Dec. 4.
Like Coyotes head coach André Tourigny said, Schmaltz believed that the score did not replicate what happened.
"I don't believe the scoreboard reflected how they (Washington) played, Schmaltz said. "They came out and played really well. It's hard to play when you are up 5-0, but we did a good job sticking with it and not giving them too many good looks."
Schmaltz scored two goals last night, including one on the power play.
