After completing a buyout with the Phoenix Suns, center Tyson Chandler plans to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, league sources tell ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Lakers hope that Chandler, 36, can give them some much-needed size and rim protection in limited minutes.
The New York Times first reported that Chandler was in the process of being bought out.
