Three takeaways: Can Suns build upon solid effort against Clippers?

It was one night. So it’s impossible to say if the passion the Suns displayed Monday night against the Clippers is here to stay, or if lethargy, a constant companion this season, will return.

The result was another loss, 123-119 in overtime to the Clippers. It was the 23rd defeat in 27 games for the Suns, but at least this one was different.

The Suns played like they cared. They were entertaining. By the end, they had a meager crowd at Talking Stick Resort Arena on its feet. If forward TJ Warren hadn’t been ejected late in the first half, the Suns probably would have won.
