The Phoenix Suns fell behind big early to the Denver Nuggets on Saturday night. Considering Denver has the best record in the Western Conference and the Suns have the worst, it really wasn’t all that surprising.
Down 20 after the first quarter, it would’ve been easy for the Suns to shrug their shoulders and say it wasn’t their night. But they kept fighting, cutting the lead to 12 by the end of the third.
Unfortunately, the Suns gave up a 10-0 run to start the fourth, and the Nuggets lead was quickly back up to 22. But even then, the Suns wouldn’t quit.
