Suns trade T.J. Warren and No. 32 pick to Pacers to clear salary for free agency

Off goes the longest tenured member of the Suns roster as T.J. Warren has officially been traded to the Pacers along with the No. 32 pick for cash, per ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

With this move, the Suns are simply dumping the remaining three years of Warren’s contract to Indiana for additional cap space. Removing Warren’s contract brings the Suns’ cap space up to $20.8 million (includes No. 6 pick plus Kelly Oubre Jr.’s cap hold).

Warren was always someone the Suns could rely on to score, but other areas of his game lacked leading to not fitting well alongside Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton.
