Just a day after Suns summer league camp concluded, Jack Cooley, with sweat racing down his face, participated in his sixth NBA summer league.
Cooley, who will technically be entering his sixth season, has played more in summer league games (38) than actual NBA games (23). He’s become a regular of the event, with an appearance each year he’s been in the league -- for six organizations.
Despite becoming a nomad in the league, Cooley sees these as additional opportunities. To him, why would he say no to an NBA offer? Yes, it may be taxing to change teams a couple times a year, but Cooley wants to keep his dream job for as long as possible.
