Suns start tough week with road test vs. Warriors

OAKLAND – That was preseason.

The back-to-back defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors rested Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Shaun Livingston and Andre Iguodala for that game Phoenix won, 117-109, at Oracle Arena.

Steve Kerr also hit the showers early via ejection for coming onto the court and arguing a foul on Steph Curry.

Then again, the Suns didn't have Devin Booker as he was making his way back from surgery on his right shooting hand, but since Golden State began playing the games that count, it's looked more like the team that’s won three of the last four NBA finals.
